The other month I purchased i30 EO60YTP. May I place on record how happy I am with the car, but more importantly how happy I am with John Meckleburgh. He is a credit to your organisation and I have already recommended two acquaintance's to go to him. This is the second car within one year I have purchased, the first (i10 KU60XRV) was for my wife. John has an excellent manner and I look forward to returning in a few years to change the cars again. Whilst I am on a roll, may I include Darren Creasey in my commendation. Between the two you seem to have just the right ingredients.

12th May 2006 Hi Darren, Just a quick note to say a big thank you for looking after both me and my wife, the new Terracan is great but this being my second one I wouldn't have expected anything else. Having a good sales team is one thing but finding a good aftersales team is exceptional. When there has been a problem with either of our Hyundais (my wife drives a Matrix) which have never been major it has never been a problem getting the parts or having the work done under the five year warranty. I just wanted to say a big "thank you" for all the work you put in (behind the scenes as well) regarding the problem with my car alarm. I think there are a number of factors that I would like to give you some feedback on: *Your approach to me and the problem was, to say the least, constructive, productive and objective. *You went (in my opinion) far beyond the role of Workshop Manager - you were determined and tenacious on my behalf and used your considerable interpersonal skills to deal with your internal departments - to resolve the issue. *You demonstrated that customer service skills are not about the 'script' they are about problem solving and creativity; I have to say you projected better customer service skills than those within Hyundai's own Customer Service Team (that I experienced). *You made it your responsibility to keep me informed every step of the way and on more than one occasion, was flexible with your own schedule of work to accommodate my strange working hours! *You dealt speedily and efficiently with the organization of the scorpion represenative/engineer and even ensured that Darren was able to explain the new alarm system to me in a comprehensive manner. *You managed to keep your sense of humor when, probably, you were under pressure from all other angles of your "proper" job and still took time to treat me with consideration and empathy.

Thank you Chris - a job well done and I feel, done to a standard that is much lacking in many other organizations. I hope the Hyundai Team Appreciate you as much as I do!
